A woman who worked as a secretary for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has filed a lawsuit against the couple for unfairly dismissing her from her job while she was on sick leave. The woman worked as a translator for the couple at the Chateau Miraval in France.
She is demanding $111,800 in compensation for the dismissal. The case will go before a labor tribunal next month.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently on the hunt for a new nanny for their six kids.
The couple want a nanny whohas a child development or education degree, can speak six languages (the native languages of each of their kids, plus two more on top of that), and is willing to travel around the world with the family.
Brad and Angelina are offering up $150,000 per year for the position.
Angelina Jolie has gotten a seventh latitude and longitude tattoo, leading many people to speculate that she’s adopting a seventh kid.
According to sources however, Angelina’s not adopting again. The tattoo pinpoints Oklahoma, which is Brad Pitt’s birthplace. One source says that she got the tattoo as a permanent commitment to Brad.
The other six tattoos pinpoint the birthplaces of their six kids, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.
One of Angelina Jolie’s former nannies probably got paid a nice sum of money for this.
According to the woman who supposedly once watched over Angelina’s kids, Angelina allows her little Jolie-Pitt rugrats to swear in French, watch R-rated movies, and drink and drive.
Rather than caring for the kids, Angelina supposedly spends her days in her room chatting on the phone. Sounds fun.
United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, Angelina Jolie has donated $100,000 to aid people affected by last month’s flood in Pakistan.
More than 2000 people have died in the disaster, and another 20 million people have been affected in some way. Angelina is hoping that her work will also help to maintain awareness of the problem.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly in talks to launch a clothing line based on the styles of their four oldest kids, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh.
As expected, the proceeds from the line will go to benefit the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have accepted undisclosed damages from News of the World for printing a story claiming that the couple was separating after five years together. They called the article false and intrusive, and promptly filed a lawsuit.
The couple now plans to donate their settlement to the Jolie-Pitt foundation.
Angelina Jolie recently sat down with Vanity Fair to talk about Brad Pitt and their gaggle of children. Highlights:
On getting married: It’s just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment [than marriage]. It’s for life.
On not having more kids: we want to make sure we can give everybody special time. They’re kids now, and can play together, but they’re going to need a lot more talking in the middle of the night, like I did with my mom for hours. We want to make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well.
On acting: It’s not the most important thing in my life. Acting helped me as I was growing up. It helped me learn about myself, helped me travel, helped me understand life, express myself, all those wonderful things. So I’m very, very grateful, it’s a fun job. It’s a luxury. Look, I’m at work today in the middle of Venice. But I don’t think I’ll do it much longer because I have a happy home….I got back from work last night, and everybody was playing music and dancing and I suddenly found myself dancing around with a bunch of little fun crazy people.
On her kids’ personalities: Mad’s a real intellectual, which I can take no credit for genetically. He’s great at school, great at history. He feels like he could be a writer or travel the world and learn about places and things. Zahara’s got an extraordinary voice and is just so elegant and well spoken. Shiloh’s hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you’ll ever meet. Knox and Viv are classic boy and girl. She’s really female. And he’s really a little dude.
On Shiloh’s gender issues: Shiloh, we feel has Montenegro style. It’s how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes [regular] suits. So it’s a suit with a tie and a jacket and slacks, or a tracksuit. She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.

Angelina Jolie was recently photographed, offering a fake hamburger to a hungry Colombian refugee child in Ecuador.
The UN Goodwill Ambassador first met this child and his family, and others like them, during her last visit there in 2002. She told reporters that she was returning to check on their conditions and progress since her previous visit.

Modeling photos of Angelina Jolie at the age of 15 sold in an auction late last month for over $2,500 each - more than six times the expected sale price.
The photos were part of Profiles in History’s Vintage Glamour Photography auction. Other photos sold during the auction included Harry Langdon’s shots of George Clooney, Halle Berry, and Farrah Fawcett.
A new primary school built with a $75,000 donation from Angelina Jolie has just opened in Tangi, Afghanistan.
Angelina donated the money about a year and a half ago, after making an emotional visit to the refugee settlement. The eight-classroom school will accommodate roughly 800 girls, whose parents are concerned about schooling them with boys for cultural and security reasons.
UNHCR, UNICEF, and local education authorities are currently working together to recruit teachers and buy textbooks for the students. They are also making plans to accommodate secondary school students at the same school in the future.
According to that new Angelina Jolie tell-all book ‘Brad Pitt and Angelina: The True Story’ by Jenny Paul, Angelina had flings with Mick Jagger, Colin Farrell, and many others before meeting her current partner, Brad Pitt.
The book claims that Angelina had slept with Mick a number of times during her marriage to Jonny Lee Miller (and his marriage to Jerry Hall), and then again shortly after her split from Billy Bob Thornton. This info supposedly comes from some of Angelina’s “friends” and her mother’s ex-boyfriend. Jenny also reveals a relationship between Angelina and Colin Farrell in 2004. That apparently ended when Angelina felt that Colin’s drinking was becoming a bad influence on her son Maddox.
The book also claims that Angelina and Brad will have a total of 13 kids.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh is turning out to be quite the expensive little tomboy. According to a source in Paris, Shiloh convinced Brad to take her to Bonpoint boy’s clothing store, where she picked out over $10,000 worth of little boy’s clothes.
Sources say that Shiloh actually bought out the entire Spring/Summer 2010 Bonpoint boys collection. Brad’s older daughter Zahara opted for dresses and skirts at Bonpoint’s girl’s store across the street.
Angelina Jolie has reportedly dropped $18,500 on a 200-year-old olive tree for Brad Pitt.
It was supposedly an early Valentines Day present for Brad. Angelina bought the tree from a way overpriced nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, and had it planted at their $60 million home in France. According to a source, “it’s a very special tree”.
